Downloading Company Export File

Authorized company administrators or representatives can request a file of all company Trips and Documents. If you need a raw data export of current trips and library documents, contact us at support@umapped.com. Please note that raw data exports are provided in JSON format only, which may require technical tools to open or use.

Notes
You can manually export any Trip by printing/saving it as a PDF from within the platform. Library documents can also be downloaded and saved as PDFs individually. We strongly recommend exporting any Trips or Documents you want to retain in a more accessible format (PDF) before October 8, 2025.

Step 1: Send an export request to Umapped

  1. Contact us at support@umapped.com to request a data export of Trips and Documents. Please note that raw data exports are provided in JSON format only, which may require technical tools to open or use.

Once your request has been actioned by the Customer Success Team, you will receive a confirmation email and you can proceed with Step 2.

Step 2: Download the export file

  1. Log in to your Umapped account.
  2. Click your profile picture in the top right corner and select My Account.



  3. Select the Downloads tab from the My Account menu bar.



  4. Click the DOWNLOAD button next to the export.

NOTE: Download links automatically expire after seven (7) days. Please download the data before the Download Expiry date.
  1. Your .zip export file will now download.

Step 3: Extract the downloaded file

  1. Locate the downloaded file and open (double-click) the file to extract the contents.



  2. Open the extracted folder.



  3. The exported folder will have a 'docs' folder containing the JSON file(s) of documents created within the company (if applicable). The 'trip' folder will contain the JSON file(s) of trips created within the company.
