From the Trips Dashboard, click the Menu icon.
Select Library. The default landing page will be Templates. If you are not on the Templates tab, select it now.
In this scenario, Nick from The Sample Travel Company has two types of insurance policies he frequently provides his customers: Emergency Medical and All-Inclusive. We'll create a template for each of those policy types.
Click the + NEW button to create a new template.
On the Create Template pop-out enter a name and duration for the template, then click Create Template.

Choose a name for the template that you can easily identify. In this example we indicated that this template is for an Emergency Medical Insurance segment, which we can easily identify when adding to a trip in the future.
We now have the shell of template created. If you would like to add a cover photo (optional) to this template, select the Edit icon and upload an image.
Next click + icon (Add icon) in the bottom right corner and select Insurance.
Fill in the details of this policy including the Provider, Policy Type, Emergency #, Important Information, and Policy Description. Then click ADD TO TEMPLATE.

Use a placeholder in the Policy # field, as this will be updated each time that you add this template to a trip.
Nick also prefers to include a PDF copy of the complete terms and conditions of the insurance policy for his customers to reference. To add a file, select View Details on the segment card, scroll to the bottom of the Details pop-out, and select Attach File.
On the Attach File pop-up, select the Upload A File tab, click the Upload Additional Files button, and choose the file you would like to attach, then click ATTACH FILE.
The file is now associated with this segment.
Now that our template is complete, the last step is to publish the template. Click the PUBLISH button in the top right corner to publish the template. Once a template is published, it will be available to import into trips.
As previously mentioned, Nick from The Sample Travel Company has two types of insurance policies he frequently provides his customers: Emergency Medical and All-Inclusive. Now that we've created a template for the Emergency Medical policy, we'll repeat all of the above steps to create a template for an All-Inclusive policy.
Now that both templates are published, we're ready to utilzie them in any trip that we create!
