Using Templates

Using Templates

Templates in the Trip Publisher allow you to create a model of a Trip that can be saved and reused for similar Trips. Templates have a wide range of functionality similar to building a Trip, but with the added ability to be able to easily reuse a Template for future Trips.

Here's how to get started.

Create a Template

  1. Click on the Menu icon in the top right corner and select Library from the menu drawer.
  2. From Library, select the Templates tab.
  3. Click the +New button in the top-right corner.

Add details

  1. Give your Template a name and add the duration (these can be changed anytime).
  2. You can add personal Tags (optional) to make it easier to search for your trip at a later date.
  3. Click Create Template.

Select a cover photo

  1. Click the Photo icon placeholder image to select the cover photo for your Template.
  2. You can select a photo from the Umapped Library, search the web, or upload it from your device.
  3. Once you select the photo you would like as your cover photo, click Upload Photo.
  1. Click on the cover photo at any time to select a new image, or click the Edit icon in the bottom right corner of the Template details to edit the Template Name, Duration, or Tags.
