Tramada Set Up and User Guide

Tramada Set Up and User Guide

Members on a Professional Plan can set up the Tramada integration which enables you to import your Tramada bookings into Umapped.

Company Set Up

If you are an existing Tramada user, an agency rep must complete the Tramada Module Request Form (contact your Tramada rep to access). The Umapped Customer Success Team will work with Tramada to implement the integration for your company and notify you when setup is complete.

Make your Tramada bookings available in Trip Publisher

The Guided Video Tour below will explain how to make your Tramada bookings available in Trip Publisher.

PART 1 | Push your Tramada bookings to Trips

Within a Tramada booking, click on Documents from the left menu.

Select the "Document Type" from the dropdown menu.
  1. Choose Itinerary - Full for the complete set of booking details.
Click Issue New.

Select Enhanced Itinerary Builder Only or Umapped Only from the "Itinerary Type" menu.

Select all segments you want to make available in your itinerary or click the Select All button.

Click Issue.

If changes are made to your Tramada Booking, re-issue the push to Trips to make sure changes are reflected in your Trip!
Only the selected segments will appear in your itinerary. Any segments not selected on subsequent pushes to Umapped will be removed from the itinerary.

PART 2 | Import your booking into Trips

In most cases, once pushed from Tramada a Trip will automatically be created and will be available to search on your Dashboard.
  1. You can use the search and filter option to search by the Tramada booking number to locate the trip.

If a Trip is not automatically created, click Import Bookings from within a Trip or Booking Inbox from your Dashboard.

Enter the Tramada Booking Number in the Keyword field and select Tramada from the Source dropdown menu. Then click Search.
  1. Depending on your account setup, your Tramada booking may already appear in the Booking Inbox without the need to search.

Click on a result to expand reservation details.

Click the Options icon (three vertical dots), then select Add To Trip.
  1. If you accessed the Booking Inbox from your Dashboard, you can also create a new Trip from this screen.

All booking details will be added as segments within the Trip.

PART 3 | Enhance your itinerary

  1. Update the name of your trip itinierary → Editing Trip Details
  2. Add a cover photo → Adding a Cover Photo
  3. Add any additional segements or content
  4. Add travellers → Adding and Managing Travellers
