Adjusting Account Preferences

You can choose to enable or disable some Trip Publisher features in Umapped.
Click on your profile picture on the right side of the Trip Publisher to expand the account menu. Select My Account and navigate to the Preferences tab.
From here, you can update the following settings:
1. PDF preferences
- This affects the design layout of your Travellers' Trip PDFs.
- Choose four different layout options - please note that the default layout may differ between agencies and is therefore unavailable for preview.
- The PDF preview is not a live preview, i.e. you will be viewing a sample and not one of your Trips.
2. 24-Hour Clock
- If enabled, your Travellers will see all times in a 24-hour format. This will not reflect in the Trip Publisher, only on the Web View and PDF.
3. Messenger | Chat for Travellers
- If enabled, Travellers can communicate via Umapped Messenger within the Web Itinerary or Mobile App.
- This function will also enable Travellers to communicate with each other.
- If disabled, you can send messages to Travellers, but they cannot reply.

Traveller Messaging is only available to users with a Professional subscription or free trial. To upgrade your subscription plan, please get in touch with support@umapped.com.
4. Messenger | Email Notification Digest
- If enabled, you and your traveller(s) will receive an email digest of messages missed while offline.
- This email will be sent approximately every thirty minutes if missed messages occur.
- This feature requires Chat for Travellers to be enabled.

Email notifications are part of Traveller Messaging and are only available to users with a Professional subscription or a free trial. To upgrade your membership plan, please get in touch with support@umapped.com.
5. Insurance Quote Request
- When enabled, if an Insurance segment is not present in your Trip, your customers will see a prompt to receive a quote for Travel Insurance. When selected, you will receive an email prompting you to contact your customer with a quote, providing opportunities for incremental revenue. For more details on Cross-sell, see these articles:

Insurance cross-sell is only available to users with a Professional subscription or free trial. To upgrade your membership plan, please get in touch with support@umapped.com.
6. Traveller Collaboration
- If enabled, Travellers can add Bookings and Notes to their Trips once Published.
- Whether enabled or disabled, Travellers cannot remove or edit the Bookings you have added.

7. Travel Requirements - Sherpa
- If enabled, the Travel Requirements section will be available on the Web Itinerary view.

8. Traveller Flight Notifications
- If enabled, Travellers on a Trip will receive notifications by email, on the web itinerary view and via the mobile app of any day-of-flight delays, gate changes or cancellations as well as a Flight Reminder 24 hours prior to departure. Flights are tracked starting 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time.

9. Advisor Flight Notifications
- If enabled, Travel Advisors will receive notifications by email, on the web itinerary view and via the mobile app for any day-of-flight delays or cancellations. Flights are tracked starting 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. When disabled, Advisors will not receive these notification emails. To completely disable flight reminders and notifications, toggle off Traveller Flight Notifications.

Always remember to click Save to apply any changes in your Account Preferences.
